Introduction
This article tells you how to create a new company in the esuite. A company is used in different places:
- Employee contracts: when creating an employee contract, you need to link it to a company / legal entity.
- Cost centers: when creating a cost center, you need to link it to a company / legal entity.
- Organizational unit: when creating an organizational unit, you need to link it to a company / legal entity.
The optional data on the company like address, IBAN/BIC and VAT number are required when using exports like SEPA XML for expense requests.
Prerequisites
You need access to the "Organizational data" section of the Admin page.
Creating a company
To create a company, go to Admin > Organizational data > Companies.
On the screen that opens, you can press 'Add company'.
The fields with * are mandatory.

| Street | Fill in the street of the company |
| Number | Fill in the street number of the company |
| Bus | Fill in the street bus of the company |
| Postal code | Fill in the postal code of the company |
| City | Fill in the city of the company |
| IBAN | Fill in the IBAN of the company |
| BIC | Fill in the BIC of the company |
| Vat number | Fill in the VAT number of the company |
Press 'Save' to complete the creating of a company.
