Introduction
This document describes the necessary steps to upload attachments to the employee's personal profile. Uploading documents can be done by the employee or by an administrator. This article describes how you can upload this as an administrator.
Prerequisites
You need the necessary rights to upload attachments to personal profiles. These permissions can be found under Personnel administration > Attachments.
Upload attachments
Go to the Admin area - Personnel Administration - Search Person. Search the employee you for whom you want to upload attachments. In the left menu bar, go to the 'Job' tab - and select Attachments.
Choose the file you want to upload.
Files that can be uploaded are;
- Word
- Excel
- PowerPoint
- Outlook (msg)
- XPS
- Text files (txt)
- Images (png, jpg, jpe, jpeg, tif, tiff, gid and bmp)
Select the category where the document belongs. Categories can be configured in Admin - Personnel Administration - File Categories. The category will be visible in the attachments tab of the profile of an employee.
Check the checkbox if the employee may see the attachment or not.
Press save.
If you need to add documents for several employees it my be more efficient to use Admin > Personnel administration > Documents. Here you can find more info.
