Can adjustments to the right to number of training hours also be updated in bulk by re-uploading the bulk form? When you re-upload the 'data upload' form, the info in the training counters is overwritten with the info entered in the Excel file.
Is provision made within E-power to pull an annual training plan that can then be used to upload in the government's tool (FLA - Federal Learning Account)? Via 'training' - 'reports' - 'training history', you can export a detail of the training taken during a given period per employee or for all employees. The government tool is not yet available at the moment, it will start on 1 January 2024. We have no info yet on what the requirements of the FLA tool in terms of file format will be for uploading this data.
When bulk uploading, is the default action 'overwrite', 'skip' or 'add'? (i.e. what happens when re-importing) If you are uploading counters for someone for whom there are already counters entered for that year in ePower, the action is 'overwrite'. How can you see whether employees have followed more hours of training than the statutory hours? Are these also included in Y+1? You can see this in the overview of training hours. These are not automatically included in Y+1, because you have also entered a training counter for Y+1. The training counter is the minimum number of hours to which the employee is entitled; he or she may of course always take more hours.
If a training course lasts less than 1 day, e.g. only a few hours, do you also see this in the history? I myself added some training courses of e.g. 2h. Yes, the exact number of hours is taken into account.
The number of days shown, is that over how many 'calendar days' the training is spread, or 'working days', converted from the number of hours? Those are the days added as a detail in the session on the "dates" tab or what the dates entered during the training application. If no detail is available then the number of days is the calendar days between the start and end dates of the training.
Is the calculation of "hours to follow" based on job time? There is no automatic calculation according to the employee's job time. You enter the number of hours to be followed for each employee yourself.
Does such a counter have to be created manually for each employee? No, you can bulk upload it via the "data upload" functionality.
If the excess is not transferred, how do you see that you get to the 5-year average? Both in the report and on the employee's counter overview, you can check how many hours were available in total, how many hours are left and how many hours were participated.
Number of hours is then "tracked hours"? How do you see what needs to be tracked? Number of hours is indeed "hours attended". In the counters per person, you also see the hours of the courses for which someone is enrolled.
The balance of transferred hours should (after 5 years?) come to "0". This happens automatically? We will work with periods where you will set a start and end. When a new period starts then the balance will indeed return to "0".
Can hours be registered for which employees have been invited regardless of whether they were actually followed? The participation status (attended) is taken into account.
Are informal training courses also counted? Yes, informal training is also counted in the training counters.
Do you have to enter the working time per employee somewhere to have counters correct? No, you have to take this into account when entering the counters. The system does not calculate this automatically.
