General
The boarding module can be used for both onboarding and offboarding tasks.
You need administrator privileges to make the necessary settings.
Operation
In the system, you create a task catalog in which each task can contain an onboarding and/or offboarding action. An example is the task “Badge,” where the onboarding action is “Create Badge” and the offboarding action is “Turn in Badge.” For each action, you can specify who (an individual or a group) is responsible for performing it.
Next, you create roles. To a role you add boarding tasks and add employees. This way, the system knows for which employees boarding actions still need to be performed. However, it is also possible to add boarding tasks to an employee independently of the roles. The action will appear on the dashboard of the person(s) who should perform the action. If the action appears with a group of people, then the action will disappear with everyone as soon as one person in the group has checked off the action.
Both the employee and the manager can access an overview of the boarding tasks to be performed for the employee.
