Requirements
Admin access to the boarding module.
General
Generally, you work with roles to let boarding create tasks for employees. However, you can remove actions created by the role from a specific employee. You can also add actions that are not part of the roles an employee has.
Removing actions from employees
Method 1
Go to Admin > Boarding > Actions. Here you get the overview of the created actions per employee. In the search field, you can search by the name of the task or by the name of the employee. Click on the trash can to remove the action from the employee. If you want to delete several actions, tick all the actions you want to delete and click Delete at the top.
Method 2
Go to Admin > Personnel administration > Find people. Find the employee and open their profile. Go to the Job tab and then choose the On & offboarding section. Here you will see the list of On & offboarding actions for this employee. Click on the trash can to delete the action for the employee. If you want to remove several, tick all the actions to be removed and click Delete at the top.
Add actions to employees
You can add actions to an employee by linking them to a role. However, you can also assign actions without working through a role.
Method 1
Go to Admin > Boarding > Actions. Here you get the overview of created actions per employee.
Click on Add boarding action to add an action.
- By name, you can search for an action from the catalogue. (You can only add actions that are in the catalogue).
- Under person, search for the person for whom you wish to add the action.
- Under start date, enter the date on which the to do may appear at the person in charge.
- At end date, enter the deadline.
- Under status, indicate whether the actions are still to be performed (Open/completed)
- If completed, you can also indicate when it was completed, by whom and you also have the option on an internal comment.
Method 2
Go to Admin > Personnel administration > Find people. Find the employee and open their profile. Go to the Job tab and then choose the On & offboarding section. Here you will see the list of On & offboarding actions for this employee. Click on Add boarding action to add an action.
- By name, you can search for an action from the catalogue. (You can only add actions that are in the catalogue).
- Under person, search for the person for whom you wish to add the action.
- Under start date, enter the date on which the to do may appear at the person in charge.
- At end date, enter the deadline.
- Under status, indicate whether the actions are still to be performed (Open/completed)

- You can customise the various fields here.
- By name, you can search for an action from the catalogue. (You can only add actions that are in the catalogue).
- At start date, you can adjust the date on which the to do may appear at the person in charge.
- At end date, you can adjust the deadline
- Under status, you can adjust whether the actions should still be executed (Open/completed)
- If completed, you can also indicate when it was completed, by whom and you also have the option on an internal comment.
