Introduction
An hour schedule can be linked to an employee contract and/or an absence.
Assign the hour schedule
Via "Admin" - "Search person" you can find the employee and go to "Employee contracts" (under the tab Job) where you will find the overview of all employee contracts created for that employee.
On the detail of such employee contract you will need to enter:
- Hour schedule: select an hour schedule from the list
- Rotation date: this date should be a Monday before the start date (or the start date itself)
- Reference number: if you need to setup an interface with a payroll provider, you will need to fill in the employee number as known with the payroll provider. This is mostly a unique employee number from the payroll provider that changes every time the employee gets a new contract.
If during the period of an employee contract, the employee is absent for a long time you can create an Absence. On the detail you will need to enter:
- Hour schedule: select an hour schedule from the list
- Rotation date: this date should be a Monday before the start date (or the start date itself)
The hour schedule linked to such a prolonged absence takes precedence over the hour schedule on the employee contract when visualizing the employee's individual calendar.
