In this release, we have focused on the training module and made several minor enhancements to other functionalities. These are listed below, and this release also includes minor bug fixes.
General
- External employees are indicated in the organizational chart with an additional icon, but this can now be replaced by entering a label for the employee type under "General > Lists > Employee type". This allows each customer to choose how they want this visualized and distinguish between different types of external employees.
- Using specific admin menu UI rights, you can hide certain menu items from admin users.
Personnel administration
- Employee certificates have also been added to the employee's personnel file and can be managed there.
Training
- The admin screens for the training catalog, training sessions, and training requests can be modified to a new layout and some minor additional functionality via a setting. Logging out and logging back in is necessary.
- An image can be added to the new details screen for a catalog training in the admin area, which will then be visually displayed on the catalog, calendar, and training details on the front end of the application.
- The training details page has a new layout, providing an overview of all available sessions.
- Requesting a training course from the catalog or an external training course is now done through a new wizard. As a manager/training coordinator, you can now register multiple employees within the same request, including for external training courses. Registering informal training courses is also done through the same new wizard.
- Approving multiple training courses has been made possible by changing the page's layout to a new one. If training budgets are in use, the approver can also see these budgets when approving.
Performance management
- The timeline of all (previous) conversations with an employee is no longer displayed in a timeline, but in a table.
- Email notifications can be set up when someone has given/requested feedback.
- In the "Conversations" section, an introduction text can be set and added.
- In the visualization under the "All Employees" tab on the overview page, an extra "role" column was added to indicate which role (manager, manager+1, manager+2, ...) you have on a document.
- A setting allows you to configure the team objectives visualization to "all active documents" or "per year."
- Linking team objectives to employees can be done via a selection screen instead of manually searching for employees.
API (GraphQL/OData)
- The query "expenses" was added for retrieving expense reports.
- The monthTotalForEmployees call has been expanded with an additional field "Periods" for requests submitted in hours, allowing queries to retrieve "hourFrom" and "hourTo."
- An additional API call has been provided for retrieving the "personReferenceNumbers" object. These are additional reference numbers that can be added to the application upon request.
